Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for libfastjson.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:0573 advisory.- json-c through 0.14 has an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write via a large JSON file, as demonstrated by printbuf_memappend. (CVE-2020-12762)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
