Description

The remote Fedora 39 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the FEDORA-2024-0d894565a0 advisory.

 - An information disclosure flaw was found in ansible-core due to a failure to respect the ANSIBLE_NO_LOG configuration in some scenarios. Information is still included in the output in certain tasks, such as loop items. Depending on the task, this issue may include sensitive information, such as decrypted secret values. (CVE-2024-0690)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected ansible-core package.
