Synopsis

The instance of JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA installed on the remote host is affected by a license dialog suppression vulnerability.

Description

The version of JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 2023.1.4 It is, therefore, affected by a license dialog suppression vulnerability, due to improper checking for an unspecified unusual condition.
An authenticated, local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to suppress IntelliJ IDEA's license dialog.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA version 2023.1.4 or later.
