Description

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-202401-24 (Nettle: Denial of Service)

- A flaw was found in the way nettle's RSA decryption functions handled specially crafted ciphertext. An attacker could use this flaw to provide a manipulated ciphertext leading to application crash and denial of service. (CVE-2021-3580)

- The OCB feature in libnettle in Nettle 3.9 before 3.9.1 allows memory corruption. (CVE-2023-36660)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

All Nettle users should upgrade to the latest version:
