Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for rsync.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2024:0254 advisory.- zlib: heap-based buffer over-read and overflow in inflate() in inflate.c via a large gzip header extra field (CVE-2022-37434)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
