The remote SAP NetWeaver ABAP server may be affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.


SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP and ABAP Platform do not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker with low privileges can cause limited impact to confidentiality of the application data after successful exploitation.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.


Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
