The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

 - A denial of service vulnerability in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions since 11.8 allows an attacker to create a recursive pipeline relationship and exhaust resources. (CVE-2021-22181)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.10.5, 13.11.5, 13.12.2 or later.
