Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- It was possible to bypass 2FA for LDAP users and access some specific pages with Basic Authentication in GitLab 14.1.1 and above. (CVE-2021-39890)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 14.1.7 or later.
