Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability, as follows:

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 13.7.9 before 13.8.7, all versions starting from 13.9 before 13.9.5, and all versions starting from 13.10 before 13.10.1. A specially crafted Wiki page allowed attackers to read arbitrary files on the server. (CVE-2021-22203)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 13.8.7, 13.9.5, 13.10.1 or later.
