The Adobe Substance 3D Sampler application installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler installed on the remote macOS host is prior to 4.2.2. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB23-74 advisory. All of the vulnerabilities listed in the advisory are out-of-bounds writes that can lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. These vulnerabilities require user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Substance 3D Sampler 4.2.2 or later.
