Description

The version of Adobe InDesign installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 18.5.1, 19.1.0. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the APSB23-70 advisory.

- NULL Pointer Dereference (CWE-476) potentially leading to Application denial-of-service (CVE-2023-47076)

- Out-of-bounds Read (CWE-125) potentially leading to Memory leak (CVE-2023-47077)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe InDesign version 18.5.1, 19.1.0 or later.
