The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2023-7668 advisory.

 - Squid is vulnerable to Denial of Service attack against HTTP and HTTPS clients due to an Improper Handling of Structural Elements bug. (CVE-2023-5824)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libecap, libecap-devel and / or squid packages.
