Synopsis

The web application running on the remote web server is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the version of Grafana Labs running on the remote host is affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability:

 - XSS vulnerability in the Unified Alerting feature of Grafana. After analysis, this stored XSS could be used to elevate privileges from Editor to Admin. (CVE-2022-31097) Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Grafana 8.3.10, 8.4.10, 8.5.9, 9.0.3, 9.2.7, 9.3.0 or later
