Synopsis

A web application running on the remote server is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the instance of NextGen Mirth Connect running on the remote web server is < 4.4.0. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability that could allow a remote attacker to bypass authentication and execute arbitrary commands.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to NextGen Mirth Connect 4.4.0 or later.
