Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2023 host is missing a security update.

Description

It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2023-2023-379 advisory.

 - A vulnerability was found in ImageMagick where heap use-after-free was found in coders/bmp.c.
 (CVE-2023-5341) (CVE-2023-5341)

Solution

Run 'dnf update ImageMagick --releasever 2023.2.20231018' to update your system.
