Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 ESM / 18.04 ESM host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-4848-1 advisory.

- ACME mini_httpd before 1.30 lets remote users read arbitrary files. (CVE-2018-18778)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected mini-httpd package.
