The version of Adobe Photoshop installed on the remote macOS or Mac OS X host is prior to 24.7.1. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the apsb23-51 advisory.

- Adobe Photoshop versions 23.5.5 (and earlier) and 24.7 (and earlier) are affected by an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. (CVE-2023-26370)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.


Upgrade to Adobe Photoshop version 24.7.1 or later.
