The remote Rocky Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Rocky Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RLSA-2023:5201 advisory.

- Heap buffer overflow in libwebp in Google Chrome prior to 116.0.5845.187 and libwebp 1.3.2 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) (CVE-2023-4863)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected thunderbird, thunderbird-debuginfo and / or thunderbird-debugsource packages.
