Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of mutt installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2023-4874 advisory.

 - Null pointer dereference when viewing a specially crafted email in Mutt >1.5.2 <2.2.12 (CVE-2023-4874)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
