The instance of JetBrains TeamCity installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.Description
The version of JetBrains TeamCity installed on the remote host is prior to 2023.05.1. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:- In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 stored XSS when using a custom theme was possible (CVE-2023-38061)
- In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 parameters of the password type could be shown in the UI in certain composite build configurations (CVE-2023-38062)
- In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 stored XSS while running custom builds was possible (CVE-2023-38063)
- In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 build chain parameters of the password type could be written to the agent log (CVE-2023-38064)
- In JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 stored XSS while viewing the build log was possible (CVE-2023-38065)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Upgrade to JetBrains TeamCity version 2023.05.1 or later.See Also
