The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2020-1604 advisory.

- In tcpdump 4.9.2, a stack-based buffer over-read exists in the print_prefix function of print-hncp.c via crafted packet data because of missing initialization. (CVE-2018-19519)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected tcpdump package.
