The remote Oracle Linux host is missing one or more security updates.Description
The remote Oracle Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the ELSA-2019-2280 advisory.- An issue was discovered in uriparser before 0.9.0. UriQuery.c allows an out-of-bounds write via a uriComposeQuery* or uriComposeQueryEx* function because the '&' character is mishandled in certain contexts. (CVE-2018-19198)
- An issue was discovered in uriparser before 0.9.0. UriQuery.c allows an integer overflow via a uriComposeQuery* or uriComposeQueryEx* function because of an unchecked multiplication. (CVE-2018-19199)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Update the affected uriparser and / or uriparser-devel packages.See Also
