Synopsis

The SAP business intelligence product installed on the remote Windows host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability

Description

The version of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform installed on the remote Windows host is using a vulnerable version of commons-fileupload which is vulnerable to Denial of Service due to CVE-2023-24998.

Apache Commons FileUpload before 1.5 does not limit the number of request parts to be processed resulting in the possibility of an attacker triggering a DoS with a malicious upload or series of uploads.

Note that Nessus has not attempted to exploit these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
