Synopsis

The remote Fedora host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Fedora 38 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the FEDORA-2023-0d6aa10621 advisory.

 - Cortex-A77 cores (r0p0 and r1p0) are affected by erratum 1508412 where software, under certain circumstances, could deadlock a core due to the execution of either a load to device or non-cacheable memory, and either a store exclusive or register read of the Physical Address Register (PAR_EL1) in close proximity. (CVE-2023-34320)

 - An issue in Zen 2 CPUs, under specific microarchitectural circumstances, may allow an attacker to potentially access sensitive information. (CVE-2023-20593)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected xen package.
