Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.Description
The version of icu installed on the remote host is prior to 50.2-4. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2023-2171 advisory.- International Components for Unicode (ICU-20850) v66.1 was discovered to contain a use after free bug in the pkg_createWithAssemblyCode function in the file tools/pkgdata/pkgdata.cpp. (CVE-2020-21913)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
