Description

SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP and ABAP Platform is affected by an improper authentication vulnerability.
Under some conditions, improper authentication checks are performed for functionalities that require user identity. An attacker can perform malicious actions over the network, extending the scope of impact, causing a limited impact on confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the vendor advisory.
