Synopsis

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing a security update.

Description

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in Microsoft Office Online Server. An unauthenticated, local attacker can exploit this to disclose potentially sensitive information.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Microsoft has released KB5002401 to address this issue.
