The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 22.04 LTS / 22.10 / 23.04 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the USN-6136-1 advisory.

- An issue found in Frrouting bgpd v.8.4.2 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the bgp_capability_llgr() function. (CVE-2023-31489)

- An issue found in Frrouting bgpd v.8.4.2 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the bgp_attr_psid_sub() function. (CVE-2023-31490)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected packages.
