Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS / 22.04 LTS / 22.10 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-6112-2 advisory.

- CPAN.pm before 2.35 does not verify TLS certificates when downloading distributions over HTTPS.
(CVE-2023-31484)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
