Synopsis

An application running on a remote web server host is affected by a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Modified Facet widget in Liferay Portal allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted payload injected into a facet label.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Liferay Portal 7.4.3.13 or later.
