Synopsis

The remote CBL Mariner host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The version of kernel installed on the remote CBL Mariner 2.0 host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CVE-2022-40476 advisory.

 - A null pointer dereference issue was discovered in fs/io_uring.c in the Linux kernel before 5.15.62. A local user could use this flaw to crash the system or potentially cause a denial of service.
