The GitLab instance installed on the remote host is affected by vulnerability.

Description

The version of GitLab installed on the remote host is 10.0 prior to 15.7.8, 15.8.4, 15.9.2. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SECURITY-RELEASE-GITLAB-15-9-2-RELEASED advisory.

- An issue has been discovered in GitLab affecting all versions starting from 10.0 to 15.7.8, 15.8 prior to 15.8.4 and 15.9 prior to 15.9.2. A crafted URL could be used to redirect users to arbitrary sites. This is a medium severity issue (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N, 4.3). It is now mitigated in the latest release and is assigned CVE-2022-3381. (CVE-2022-3381)

Solution

Upgrade to GitLab version 15.7.8, 15.8.4, 15.9.2 or later.
