Synopsis

The remote Windows host has an application installed that is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

The version of Dell EMC NetWorker installed on the remote Windows host is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability in the NetWorker Client execution service (nsrexecd) irrespective of any auth used.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Dell EMC NetWorker 19.7.0.3 or later.
