The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing a security update.

Description

The Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing a security update. It is, therefore, affected by the following vulnerability:

 - A remote code execution vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker could send a malicious e-mail containing an RTF payload that would allow them to gain access to execute commands within the application used to open the malicious file. (CVE-2023-21716)

Solution

Microsoft has released KB5002309 to address this issue.
