Synopsis

The remote web server is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The version of IBM MQ Server running on the remote host is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the 6909467 advisory.

 - IBM MQ Managed File Transfer could allow a local user to obtain sensitive information from diagnostic files. (CVE-2022-42436)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to 9.0.0.14 LTS, 9.1.0.13 LTS, 9.2.0.7 LTS, 9.3.0.2 LTS, 9.3.1.1 CD or later. Alternatively, install APAR IT42204 where appropriate.
