The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2023-0343 advisory.

 - GNU Libtasn1 before 4.19.0 has an ETYPE_OK off-by-one array size check that affects asn1_encode_simple_der. (CVE-2021-46848)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libtasn1, libtasn1-devel and / or libtasn1-tools packages.
