Description

The remote Fedora 36 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the FEDORA-2023-1254a1fc28 advisory.

- The SafeSocks option in Tor before 0.4.7.13 has a logic error in which the unsafe SOCKS4 protocol can be used but not the safe SOCKS4a protocol, aka TROVE-2022-002. (CVE-2023-23589)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Update the affected tor package.
