The remote Scientific Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

The remote Scientific Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the SLSA-2023:0291-1 advisory.

 - sudo: arbitrary file write with privileges of the RunAs user (CVE-2023-22809)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected sudo, sudo-debuginfo and / or sudo-devel packages.
