Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 9 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2022:8792 advisory.

 - Undertow: DoS can be achieved as Undertow server waits for the LAST_CHUNK forever for EJB invocations (CVE-2022-2764)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected eap7-undertow package.
