Description

The version of IBM Java installed on the remote host is prior to 7.0 < 7.0.11.15 / 7.1 < 7.1.5.15 / 8.0 < 8.0.7.20. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the IBM Security Update November 2022 advisory.

- In Eclipse Openj9 before version 0.35.0, interface calls can be inlined without a runtime type check.
Malicious bytecode could make use of this inlining to access or modify memory via an incompatible type.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
