The remote host is affected by an unauthorized access vulnerability.

Description

The 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0 versions of Coherence installed on the remote host are affected by an unauthorized access vulnerability as referenced in the Oct 2022 CPU advisory. This easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Coherence executes to compromise Oracle Coherence. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Coherence accessible data.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Apply the appropriate patch according to the Oct 2022 Oracle Critical Patch Update advisory.
