The remote CentOS host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the CESA-2022:6775 advisory.

 - squid: buffer-over-read in SSPI and SMB authentication (CVE-2022-41318)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected libecap, libecap-devel and / or squid packages.
