Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for Red Hat OpenStack Platform (openstack-barbican).

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 / 8 / 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2022:6750 advisory.

 - openstack-barbican: access policy bypass via query string injection (CVE-2022-3100)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL Red Hat OpenStack Platform (openstack-barbican) package based on the guidance in RHSA-2022:6750.
