Synopsis
The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.Description
The remote Oracle Linux 8 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2022-6540 advisory.- An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1, macOS Monterey 12.5.1, Safari 15.6.1. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited. (CVE-2022-32893)
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
