Synopsis

The remote host has an application installed that is affected by an arbitrary file read vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe InDesign installed on the remote host is prior to 17.4. It is, therefore, affected by an arbitrary file read vulnerability. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this to read arbitrary files.

Note that Nessus has not attempted to exploit these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe InDesign version 17.4 or later.
