Adobe Bridge installed on remote Windows host is affected by a multiple vulnerabilities

Description

The version of Adobe Bridge installed on the remote Windows host is prior to 12.0.3 or 11.1.4. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb22-49 advisory.

 - Adobe Bridge version 11.1.2 (and earlier) and version 12.0 (and earlier) are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious RGB file. (CVE-2021-44185)

 - Adobe Bridge version 11.1.2 (and earlier) and version 12.0 (and earlier) are affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious SGI file. (CVE-2021-44186, CVE-2021-44187)

 - Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2022-35699, CVE-2022-35700, CVE-2022-35701)

 - Out-of-bounds Read (CWE-125) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2022-35702, CVE-2022-35703, CVE-2022-35705, CVE-2022-35707)

 - Use After Free (CWE-416) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2022-35704)

 - Heap-based Buffer Overflow (CWE-122) potentially leading to Arbitrary code execution (CVE-2022-35706, CVE-2022-35708)

 - Use After Free (CWE-416) potentially leading to Memory Leak (CVE-2022-35709)

 - Use After Free (CWE-416) potentially leading to Memory leak (CVE-2022-38425)

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Bridge version 12.0.3 or 11.1.4 or later.
