Synopsis

The remote Windows host has an application installed that is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability.

Description

The version of Dell EMC NetWorker installed on the remote Windows host is 19.2.1.x, 19.3.x, 19.4.x 19.5.x 19.6.x prior to 19.6.1.2 or 19.7.0.0. It is, therefore, affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability. An authenticated, non-administrative attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to restricted resources.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Dell EMC NetWorker 19.6.1.2 or later.
