Description

The remote Ubuntu 18.04 LTS / 20.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-5552-1 advisory.

- phpLiteAdmin through 1.9.8.2 allows XSS via the index.php newRows parameter (aka num or number).
(CVE-2021-46709)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected phpliteadmin and / or phpliteadmin-themes packages.
