Synopsis

An OT application is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability.

Description

The Schneider Electric IGSS Data Server (IGSSdataServer.exe) running on the remote host is affected by a out-of-bounds write vulnerability due to the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied data. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this, via specially crafted messages, to execute code in the context of the user running the process.

Solution

Upgrade IGSS IGSSdataServer.exe to version 15.0.0.22171 or later.
