The remote Oracle Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Oracle Linux 9 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ELSA-2022-5252 advisory.

 - Libarchive v3.6.0 was discovered to contain an out-of-bounds read via the component zipx_lzma_alone_init.
 (CVE-2022-26280)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected bsdtar, libarchive and / or libarchive-devel packages.
